			  About MAILER
			----------------

This is an EMail product allowing you to send mail messages
to other users around a Novell Network. EMail is normally used in
busy environments where savings on administration costs and time
is important. When you the user, create a document to be sent to
another user you can send it with an acknowledgement or notification.
If you flag for acknowledgement, when the mail is read by the
receiving user, you the sender, will be notified that the message
has been read. If the notification flag has been set then the
receiver will get a system message on arrival straight away.

The user receiving your mail is not required to be logged
into the server, mail sent will be stored and can be read at a later
date when the user starts the MAILER application.

This system has been designed to be easy to use, its cheap
and is registered per server (not per user). You are able to access
up to 200 users and 50 groups around a network with MAILER.

			Technical Notes !
			-----------------

1).. If when you login you would like to be notified of mail waiting
for you add this entry into your login script....

	  IF NEW FIRE 4
	WRITE "You Have New Mail!"
	PAUSE
	END

This will work in either the system login script or your user
	  login script.

2)... Users such as SUPERVISOR or BACKUP do not normally require
mail because they very rarely login. This would mean mail sent to
group EVERYONE or any other group who they may be members of get
mail, this uses up disk space so a MAILER.INI file is available.
Any users name in this file will automatically be removed from the
	  send list in Mailer.

	(See Example File Supplied !)

	DOS Prompt Options....

	MAILER Starts program.
MAILER /CLEAR Deletes Mail Box and all Incoming Mail
	MAILER /? Info on startup.

Typeing Mailer / Clear You must be at the Dos Prompt firist.

MAILER is SHAREWARE and may be freely distributed, as long as it
remains in its complete form with all support, documentation, and
configuration files. It may be used for a thirty day free trial
period. Regardless of how the copy is obtained, it is requested that
all users comply with the following licensing / registration
provisions if they continue to use it after the thirty day trial
	period:

	1. Registration is 50.00 per copy per network server. I need your

	a. Use all Minor updates at no cost (except shipping and handling;
see below) provided the registration fee hasn't changed.
