Madison Avenue Bob Ostrander
A True Type Font
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Purpose:
-------
This is an original and legal TrueType Font for use with Windows
3.1. MADAVE is generally a decorative Sans Serif font modeled after
Solotype's Advertiser Gothic Light. You'll find it a swoopy,
effective font for promotional pieces, advertisements, etc.

This is a fully hinted font - including diagonal hints in the
TrueType set. It uses composite characters wherever possible to
conserve resources and increase printing speed.

Note: TrueType font usage is a feature of Windows 3.1. You will not
be able to use this font with Windows 3.0.

Installation and Use:
--------------------

Luckily there isn't much documentation needed to effectively use the
Madison Avenue font in Windows 3.1. In fact what documentation you need
you already have.

Unzip the file MADAVE.ZIP to find MADAVE.TTF. Copy it to your
WINDOWS/SYSTEM directory and activate via the Control Panel -
Fonts menu. You'll find the Control Panel in your Main program
group.
