   LOTTO-SIM 4 VISUAL BASIC --- v1.0a by: Bob Yewchuk, as of June 13, 1994
   -----------------------------------------------------------------------

This is version 1.0a because I forgot to include the GSW files in the
previous version. I didn't realize my mistake until I tried to run the pro-
gram on a machine that didn't have Visual Basic on it. Everything should work
now, but if it doesn't, send me an E-Mail message (the address is in the
Windows Help file), and tell me what went wrong.

Automatic setup and install programs always worry me; I'm keep thinking that
they're going to over-write something important without telling me about it.
Therefore, I'm not going to inflict the same kind of aggravation on everyone
else. Although this program has to be set-up manually, it's really easy, and
you will be in complete control of the installation.

Step 1 --- Create a working directory. e.g. C:\LOTTOSIM
Copy the following files into this directory:

           LOTTOSIM.EXE
           LOTTOSIM.HLP

Step 2 --- Copy the following files into C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM (if you have
Windows loaded somewhere else, copy them into its SYSTEM
           directory)

           GRAPH.VBX
           GSW.EXE
           GSWDLL.DLL
           MSMASKED.VBX
           THREED.VBX

Step 3 --- Make sure that you have a copy of VBRUN300.DLL, and copy it
into C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM, or any directory listed in your path

Step 4 --- (Optional) I have included a .WAV file to be used as a first-
prize sound. If your PC can play .WAV files, then copy this
           file into your C:\WINDOWS directory.

           BILL&TED.WAV

Step 5 --- In the Windows Program Manager, select Run from the file menu.
Select LOTTOSIM.EXE from your working directory, and click on
           the OK button.

Reading the help file is not necessary to use this program. It's there to
supply background information and technical details, once you become
familiar with it. To view the help file, repeat Step 5 using LOTTOSIM.HLP
as the file name.
