Using Logitech Mice and DOS 5.0
4/15/92

There have been no reports of compatibility problems with any of Logitech's
current products with DOS 5.0. However, with some of the older mouse
drivers, you may get improper behavior.

MouseWare version 6.0 and higher:
The mouse drivers versions 6.0 and higher are fully compatible with DOS 5.0.

MouseWare 5.0 or 5.01:
The mouse driver works properly with DOS 5.0 with the exception of a message
from DOSSHELL stating that the driver is too old. Choosing the option to
ignore this message and use the mouse anyway will eliminate the message and
the mouse will function properly. The MouseWare utilities (LOGIMENU and
CLICK) function only from the DOS prompt. They will not function from
DOSSHELL or from the DOS PROMPT called from DOSSHELL. Also, the utilities
will not function properly if the mouse driver is being loaded high. If you
want to utilize the utilities in DOSSHELL or in high memory, you need to
obtain a full MouseWare Utilities upgrade from the Customer Service
Department at (510) 795-8100.

MouseWare 4.10 or earlier:
These drivers will need to be updated to the current 6.1 driver. The 6.1
mouse drivers for DOS are available on the Logitech BBS at (510) 795-0408
and on COMPUSERVE. If you are using the Logimenu and/or Click software,
you will need to obtain a full upgrade (manuals and diskettes) to the
current version of MouseWare through the Logitech Customer Service
Department at (510) 795-8100.
