Kid's Software Catalog Vol 3 No 1 (January, 1995)

The Kid's Software Catalog is a listing of products and companies
that sell software and related products aimed at children from newborns to
aproximately 7 years of age. It includes shareware and commercial software.
If the product is supported on, or available from a compuserve forum that
information is listed. If available, each software entry contains a brief
description of the software. These descriptions come from a variety of
sources: the product packaging, manufacturers advertisements, magazine
reviews, upload descriptions. The author of this catalog 1) has not
included any editorial comments regarding any of the products listed; 2)
apologizes for any copyright infringements. If I have listed your soft-
ware or something you wrote when you uploaded a product, and you don't want
it listed e-mail me and I will remove any offending text from the catalog.

This catalog will be update periodically if: 1) there is any interest
from people (by interest I mean e-mailing me and tellling me what you think);
2) I get any updates from people. This means if you upload something and you
know about the catalog, please send me a message so I can include the infor-
mation in the next catalog. I can not scan all forums for new uploads.; 3)
I don't get into any legal trouble for listing commercial products (etc).

If you find the catalog usefull, but want more information included
let me know and I will try to be accomodating in any future versions.

You may freely distribute this catalog via any means as long as you
include all files in the original post in an unmodified form, and you do not
charge for the distribution.

In all cases a blank entry should not be assumed to mean NO. It just
means that I don't know the answer. Hopefully as I receive more current in-
formation blank entries will be completed.

One additional note. All references are for products that will run
on IBM compatible machines. I do not own any of the Apple family machines,
so I don't even get junk mail or catalogs for their products. If there is
an Apple/MAC owner who wants to create a parallel catalog please contact
me. Or a joint catalog can be created and an IBM/APPLE/BOTH field added.

I hope you find this catalog useful and that you will try some of
the products mentioned. On a personal note, I started both of my children
on computers before they were one year old, and I think that I can honestly
say that it has made a difference in their educational abilities. Neither
of them are mensa candidates, but it is better than *some* television.
