4. Installation

InfoMiles can be installed in 2 ways:

  1. The easiest way is to run the Install program. This will
create a directory on your hard disk, copy all necessary
files including configurations you have selected and
create an icon on the desktop if desired.

  2. A manual installation can also be done as long as all files
required for program operation are present and located in the
      same directory.

5. Getting started

If your communication program configuration was included in this
package, you're ready to go!

NOTE: The log file paths in the supplied configurations are defaults
supplied by the authors. If you installed the program in a
directory other than the default, the log file path will need
to be changed in the setup.

If your communication program was NOT included in this package,
you will need to set up the following before using InfoMiles:

  Required setup
    Log file path
    Connections
