                HOTKEY.VBX
                ----------

Hotkey is a Visual Basic Custom Control for use in 'pop-
up' applications.

It allows you to define a 'hot key', and the vbx will
fire it's event when that key is pressed from anywhere
in windows.

For example you can create an application which will
remain hidden until the user presses Alt-F10, when the
application will pop-up and perform it's function. The
example VB application included in this package will
demonstrate this.

You can define the hot key to be any of the keys on
a normal keyboard, including F-Keys, Numpad keys,
cursor keys... including Alt key combinations.

For a detailed description of how to use HOTKEY read
the help file included.

To install HOTKEY.VBX, simply copy the VBX file to your
windows\system directory. To use the VBX in VB, add the
VBX to your project by selecting it from the 'File'
'Add File' menu.

This version of HOTKEY.VBX is shareware, and can be
used at design time only. To obtain the full version,
which you can use in EXE's, register HOTKEY for $20
in the compuserve SWREG forum (ref number #7826).
If you would like the full version with C source code,
register with ref number #7827, for $50.

After you register you will be sent the relevant files
via compuserve E-mail, which is by far the quickest
and safest way of delivering the software. If you would
prefer to be send the software by postal mail, please
send an E-mail to Paul Pagett at 100257,3010, stating
the full international address of where you want the
disk sent.

This VBX was created using the new version of the
excellent VBX source code generator.... VBXGen 3.
VBXGen will help you create your own custom VBX's
in a fraction of the time it would usually take.
VBXGen 3 is available for just $50 from
