                 -- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS --

Run the program SETUP.EXE.

                     -- RUNNING THE PROGRAM --

To run the games, run the file GOODSOL2.EXE.  To play a particular
game, click on its name on the main screen.  To see the rules for
a particular game, goto the help menu or press F1.  In most games,
the cards can be moved by drag and drop.  Also, to quickly move a 
card, try right-clicking on the card.

                         -- WHAT'S NEW -- 

Version 2.1a contains bug fixes and new registration information.  Bugs
fixed include bugs in FreeCell, Chameleon, TetSol, and a bug that caused
corruption in the GOODSOL2.INI file that gave some users an overflow 
error.  New registration options are registration via the web, phone,
email, or fax.

                       -- HOW TO REGISTER --

This program is shareware.  Continued use of Pretty Good Solitaire 
beyond a 30-day evaluation period requires registration.  Registration
will bring you instructions on how to get rid of the registration
reminder screens and other benefits (see the help file). To register,
print out the registration form in the help file and send $19 (plus $3
shipping if you want a disk) to:

The next version of Pretty Good Solitaire is in development.  It will
include many more new games.  If you have a favorite solitaire game that
is not included in this collection, send in a request for it to be
included.  Many of the games currently in Pretty Good Solitaire were
suggested by users.  Suggestions received before the end of 1996 may be
included in the upcoming version 2.2.  Suggestions received in 1997 or
after could be included in a later version.
