The following items have been addressed with this patch:
1.1 Update notes

- Full Screen Arcade play

The arcade can now be set to run in full screen mode. When full screen
mode is enabled the game will automatically stretch the onfield display
to fit the current windows resolution. In higher resolutions (1024x768
and up) you may experience some loss in game performance. Higher color
settings (more than 256) will also negatively impact game performance.
We recommend that you set windows to 256 color mode prior to playing
   Football Pro '97.

To enable full screen mode edit the setup.ini file found in
SIERRA\FBPRO97. Under [Arcade], include the following line:

   Screen=Full

Note: The SETUP.INI file is case sensative so you MUST type the line
in exactly as it is shown above.

- Dual Joysticks in a head-to-head game

You should now be able to play head to head games using two joysticks
   on a single computer.

- CD roms greater than H:

Small install will now read the CD properly when the CD-Rom drive
letter is set to letters greater than H:

- Non-black rain

The "acid" rain problem has been fixed. The rain drops will now appear
   as transparent instead of black.

- Selected play highlighted unless in head-to-head play

On the play call screen when you click on a play diagram with either the
mouse or the joystick, a highlight box will appear around that play.
However, this only occurs in single player games. The highlight will
NOT appear when two players are playing a game on a single machine.

- Pro Bowl conference AFC/NFC switches

Pro Bowl teams will now have the correct players on each conference.

- Move the mouse pointer out of the way during a play

The mouse pointer will automatically be moved out of the way when exiting
from the play call screen to the on field view.

- Printing of Pro Bowl rosters

You can now print Pro Bowl rosters.

- Default Dynamix league data fix (now is a 30 team league)

There was a data error in the Dynamix league that prevented you from
being able to play games with two of the teams. The data problem has been
   fixed.

- Printing of Hall of Fame and Awards

Hall of Fame and Awards screens can now be printed.

- Pro Bowl team colors fixed

During Pro Bowl games, the team colors were incorrect. The team colors
   are now fixed.

- Proper display of QB passing yards greater than 32000

Quarterbacks with passing yards greater than 32000 were appearing to lose
yards as their careers progressed. This problem has been addressed.

- Hard to read statistics and roster screens

On statistics and roster screens the background color was too bright
to read the text easily. The background color has been changed from
light blue to a dark blue.

- Left/Right arrows adding garbage characters when editing

No garbage characters are added while using the arrow keys to edit.

- Too difficult to call plays with double click.

Should be easier to double click to select plays from the play call
   screen.

- Fixed problem with trading the last player in the list

There was a problem when trading the last player in a list. The problem
   has been fixed.

- New League not retaining Uni # Colors/plans/profiles

There was a problem when creating new leagues from existing leagues, the
team data for jersey colors, game plans and coaching profiles was not
being transferred over to the new league. This problem has been fixed.

- MultiPlayer file transfer progress bar

A status bar will now appear when starting multiplayer games over a modem
or network. The status bar will show file transfer progress.

- Printing problems in the Play Editor

Some printers were having problems printing play diagrams. You should
now have no difficulties printing play diagrams or coaching profiles.

- Annoying single click game plan problem in Play Editor

A double click is now required on a game plan mini diagram to bring
up the load play window. This should make game plan and coaching
   profile creation easier.

- Quick plan creation with subdirectories

You should now be able to use the Quick Plan feature to create game
plans with custom plays in subdirectories below the custom directory.

- Changing field goal range in coaching profile not saving

You can now edit and successfully save the field goal range in coaching
   profiles.

1.2 Update notes

- Multiplay Chat feature has not been addressed by this patch.

- Local Network Mode

If Local Network is checked, the game clock speed is adjusted
to allow play over a Local Area Network. If you are using a network
connection mode (TCP or IPX) to play over a Wide Area Network
(The Internet) turn the Local Network option off. If you plan on
playing Football Pro '97 over KALI using a modem, make sure to turn
Local Network Mode off. If you are playing a multi player game and the
clock is running too fast turn Local Network off.

- Modem play improved

Several improvements have been made to make modem head to head
   games smoother.

- Player Trades sorted by Best to Worst

Trade proposals are now sorted in order from best to worst in decending
order. The best trade proposals will appear at the top of the list.

- Clock stops when the kicking team recovers an onside kick

Previously when the kicking team would recover the ball on an onside
attempt the game clock would continue to run. Since this is actually
a change of possession the clock will now stop.

- Player of the week awards computed after last game of the week

In certain situations the player of the week awards would be computed
prior to the last game of of a week being completed. This problem
has been addressed, now player of the week awards will not be computed
until the last game in a week has been played.

- Joystick\Keyboard input improved

The ease of use and functionality of the joystick interface has been improved. There
is no longer any need to hold the B button down while selecting plays, only when scrolling
up or down to select the pages from the play book. Double click speeds have also been
   improved.

- Substitution sets fixed

You can now successfully create and use substitution sets in the
   Play Editor and the Arcade.

- Game is automatically saved after each play

The game saves automatically after every play. This should allow you
to start games at exactly the point you left off.

   than P.

   type for the home team.

- Fixed display of negative rushing yards

Negative yardage for some statistical categories were displaying
incorrectly. The yardage for all statistics will now display
   correctly.

On two animations, player jersey colors would sometimes swap. This
   will no longer occur.
