Installation

2 - Hardware and software requirements

Beginning with release 2.0, CDProW is a full 32-bit Windows
application. This means that it requires Windows 95 (or greater)
  or Windows NT to run.

CDProW uses approximately 3,700,000 bytes of disk space for it's
initial installation. This includes demo and help files along with
necessary Microsoft Visual Basic 5.0 runtime files.

The Microsoft Visual Basic 5.0 runtime file MSVBVM50.DLL is
required in order to run CDProW. If you are running any other
Visual Basic 5.0 programs, you already have this file installed on
your machine. For this reason, it is not included in the CDProW
installation package. However, it is available for download from
  our Web site.

3 - Installation Steps

     1. If you do not already have the Visual Basic 5.0 runtime file
MSVBVM50.DLL installed on your machine, you must install it
first before you attempt to install CDProW. If you do not
have it, this file is available for download from our Web
site. Simply unzip the MSVBVM50.ZIP file and move the file
MSVBVM50.DLL into your \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. Without
this file present on your system, the CDProW SETUP program
          will not execute.

     2. Create a temporary directory that will store the extracted
CDProW Zip file. This directory and its contents may be
deleted after you have successfully installed CDProW.

     3. Unzip the distribution file into the temporary directory.
You have obviously already done this otherwise you would not
          be reading this.

     4. Using Explorer, double click on the SETUP.EXE program in the
temporary directory to start the installation. Optionally,
you can use the Control Panel Add-Remove Programs to install
CDProW. Just point it to the SETUP.EXE program in the
temporary directory. In either case, follow the prompts to
install CDProW on your computer. The default location for
the CDProW program is in "\program files\CDProW".

     5. That's all - the installation is complete. To run CDProW,
simply use your Start Menu, select Programs, then CDProW!
If you need to uninstall CDProW, you can do so from the
          Control Panel Add-Remove Programs section.

4 - Files and their locations

The following list includes all application files provided with
CDProW. All of these files are installed into the location that
  you specify during the installation.

     File Description File Size
     Cdprow.hlp Help file 80 KB

     README This file 12 KB
Demo1.dat Demo data file 25 KB

The following system files are required by CDProW in order to
execute but are not supplied with the CDProW installation package.
They should be in your \Windows\System directory.

     File Description File Size
     MSVBVM50.dll VB 5.0 runtime 1334032

The following system files are required by CDProW in order to
execute. They are all installed into the \Windows or
\Windows\System directory. If you already have a version of one of
these files, the installation program will check to see if you have
the latest version. If you do, nothing will be done to your
existing file. If your version is older than the one distributed
with CDProW, then the new version will be installed over your
  version.
