ASCII VERSION OF CASINO.SHO WILL BE SENT

ONLY TO DOWNLINKS REQUESTING IT

Atlantic City, NJ --- Bob Taylor, Editor of CASINO.SHO announced today that
the ASCII text version of CASINO.SHO will be phased out entirely in coming
months. He said, "In anticipation of the development of fully user inter-
active software including an Internet presence, we must look forward and not
backward."

He continued, "The only reason we have continued to provide a condensed ASCII
CASINO.SHO is for those BBS systems that haven't been able to utilize the
Doorway program developed by Marshall Dudley. Our planning does include
a self-contained door-type program for BBS's that want to use the program
on-line, but this project will take considerable time and testing. Our main
immediate goal is to provide a top-notch offline program for users."

However, the ASCII version will be sent to those nodes specifically
requesting it until a door-type program is operational. Netmail will be sent
to each downlink to inform them of the proposed change that will take effect
in about two weeks.
