WARNING: If you unzipped SW112D.ZIP with the command PKUNZIP *.ZIP, then
	 you will have unzipped the components of BCFILES.ZIP into the
	 wrong directory.  We suggest you follow the instructions in 
	 GETSTART.TXT or ONESTART.TXT.  This will ensure that the correct
	 directories are created and the files are loaded into these
	 directories.

	 BRIDGE CREW WILL NOT WORK UNLESS THE DIRECTORY STRUCTURE IS 
	 CORRECT.  

	 If necessary, the directory structure can be altered, but you must
	 'tell' Bridge Crew (by setting the DOS environment variable BCREW
	 and running the program BCREWSET) before it will run.  Details 
	 are included in GM.TXT.

Known Bugs

BCTERM occasionaly corrupts a packet of data, when it does it issues
a message 'Packet Deleted' (usualy somwhere unpredictable).
In testing this bug occurs an average of once per 3 hours its caus is 
unkown the best remedyy is to exit BCTERM (ALT/X) and restart it.

The DOWN and XDOWN GM Commands do not appear to work in this version.

The GM commands MOVE, RMOVE and DMOVE are unpredictable in effect if you
move a ship outside of the universe (0-999999 in any direction) 
 
In BCTERSET the F9 option is not working properly
if you take it you must enter a chacter followed Enter
you will need to do this twice to get back to the menu,
which will be there but not displayed, then you can select
help sound to refresh the screen

If you use this version of BRIDGE CREW for an extended period of time 
then it would be polite to consider (and act upon) getting a 
registered version. The registered version is superior in many ways 
and comes with printed manuals. It is constantly being updated in all 
probability by the time you read this it will have a new batch of 
features not found in sw1.12.

To exit BCTERM use ALT/X

If you need to run Bridge Crew in directories other than C:\BCREW
and C:\UNIVERSE then you will need to set the DOS environment 
variable BCREW and run the program BCREWSET.  Details are included
in GM.TXT.
