			    REGISTRATION

1. The game supplied is an unregistered version. This version is
provided as a demonstration of the game capabilities and provides
a fully functioning BACCARAT simulation. Some game enhancements
are reserved for those users who find this game to be a worthwhile
investment. Shareware is a try before you buy marketing method. If
you make regular use of this software, you are expected to "purchase"
it by paying the registration fee. As an incentive to register this
program, I will send you the newest version of this software complete
with all the game enhancements not available in the unregistered
copy. These features are listed below.

			 REGISTRATION BENEFITS

1. Your registered version will no longer have registration reminders
   on screen.

2. Your registered version will save all game information for all players
and will recall this information for each new game allowing the player
to continue a game started in a previous session.

3. Your registered version will save the last game speed and chip value
you used. New games will start with your game speed and chip value
   loaded.

4. Your registered version will allow up to 6 "Human" players to play at
one time. Any seats not occupied by a human will be filled in by computer
generated players. The unregistered version allows only one "Human" player
   to play at a time.

5. Sound Blaster support is provided. If you have a Sound Blaster or 100%
compatible system, you can order the optional voice pack for this game.
These files will allow you to hear digital recordings of the words seen
in the talk balloons. This provides for a more realistic and entertain-
ing game. NOTE: When all voice files are decompressed to your hard disk,
they will occupy nearly 1 mega byte of space.

6. Registered users can order additional "ULTIMATE" games at a 20% discount.
The registered version of the games "Ultimate Blackjack" and "Ultimate
Gin" can be purchased for $8.00 each (regular price is $10.00). If
you order the Voice Pack for Ultimate Baccarat, you will receive the Voice
Pack for all other "ULTIMATE" games you purchase free. If these games are
ordered at one time, you need only pay one shipping and handling fee for
the entire order. See "OTHER ULTIMATE GAMES" at the end of this file
for a description of these games.

		       COMMAND LINE OPTIONS

The following letters may be included on the command line when invoking
the program to provide the following results.

			PLAYING THE GAME

The information provided below applies to the registered version of this
game. Some features are reserved for registered users. See Registration
benefits above for a list of these features.

Follow the prompts to sign in. Up to 6 "HUMAN" players may play at the
same time. If less than 6 "HUMANS" will play, up to 3 computer players
will fill in the empty seats.

The first step is for each player to place a bet. The player's name
(who is next in line to place a bet) will flash until his bet is
placed.

The letter in () for each menu category may be used from the
keyboard to access that menu item. If in a sub menu, the first
letter of the menu item will activate that menu event.

Buttons on a menu will not be present for a category that is N/A
at that time. For instance, the (P)ush last bet category will
only have a button next to it if the previous bet round was won.

Escape will exit from the present menu to the invoking menu. If in
the MAIN MENU, pushing Escape will produce the same results as select-
ing the QUIT button.

			   MAIN MENU

Bet P(L)ayers --- implements the PLAYER bet.

Bet B(A)nkers --- implements the BANKER bet.

Bet T(I)e --- implements the TIE bet.

can be changed when in any of the 3 above menus. Increase the chip
value (bet amounts) by moving the hand pointer to the plus (+) button
at the top of the menu. Push the left mouse button to increase the
chip value in $5.00 increments with each mouse button push. Push the
right mouse button to change the chip value at a faster pace. Move the
hand pointer to the minus (-) key to decrease the chip value as above.
You may use the + and - keys on your keyboard to produce the same
results as moving your hand pointer to the + or - button and
pressing the right mouse button.

(R)epeat Last --- Allows the better to repeat his last bet. No
button for this selection until an initial bet
		  has been made.

(P)ush Last Win - Allows the better to press his last bet plus
winnings for the next bet. No button for this
selection unless the better's last bet was a

smallest chip. The chip value is adjustable
from $10 to $200. Possible bets range from this
chip value to 5 x this chip value. The chip value

for the full range of possible bets.

equal faster games. If a sound blaster is

one of 3 of the enemy's top commanders in a classic battle ship setting.
A couple of twists adds fun and excitement to the action. Use your infra-
red heat scope to help in locating the enemy's ships. Each side can have
one jet fighter helping in the attack. Each side can have up to 2 mines
randomly placed in the opponent's waters. Play at night or day time.
Each side has 2 jammers (electronic and heat) that will compound the others
problems in trying to use electronic or infrared means to locate the other's
ships. If either side's jammers take damage, the other side becomes much
more effective when using its' infrared scope and jet fighter. Play against
another human player rather than the computer opponent if you like.
