3-3-95 PROGRAMS FOR V.42/V.32 MODEMS

In theory, any program that allows hardware handshaking and an

initialization string will work. You set RTS/CTS (hardware) handshaking,

and AT&F&C1&D2S36=7 for the init string. S95=3 will cause 2400/ARQ connect

messages, if you don't want protocol or compression results.

The DOS software I recommend is TELIX, QMODEM or Procomm Plus (in that

order). (they are all 'clones' of the original Procomm, and have the best

user interface). They have many transfer protocols and emulations built-in.

Telix is shareware, and can be downloaded from many BBS. (including Zoom).

Windows comes with Terminal, and you can get Procomm Plus and others...
