Rec'vd faxes are graphics, so require a graphics capable printer to
print the fax. The most common are Epson / IBM Proprinter or HP Laser
compatible printers. Try those first, then try any others on the list in
your setup screen. If you have a graphics printer, but none of them work,
the software Mfr (not Zoom) may have a new driver that will work. Because
you are printing graphics, you are using extra steps in the fax rec'v
process. So quality will be less than that of a fax rec'vd on a fax
machine.

You can usually re-send rec'vd faxes just as they are. Rec'vd faxes
may need to be converted to standard (TIF, PCX or Mac) graphics format
before you can 'use them'. The fax software should have a conversion
facility included.

To EDIT a rec'vd fax use a PAINT program after they have been converted.

An OCR program may convert graphic-text to ASCII for your word processor.

>>To send graphics you need to use a driver which captures graphic/printer
output. Something like Printcap (Bitfax) or Popprint (MTEZ). All Dos fax
software has some kind of Capture program. The graphics capture programs
generally require you set Epson 9-pin driver (some will use HP laser) in
your application software. You will be printing to an 'imaginary' printer
when the capture programs is working.
Windows and Mac fax software prints like a printer driver from your
application.
You cannot at this point send grey scale graphics.
If you are going computer-computer, then just use a file transfer, it's
faster, more reliable, and the transferred file is unchanged.
