Office 97 AutoCorrect Utility Readme (Aclfix.exe)
=================================================

This utility will correct some cases of corrupt Office 95 AutoCorrect
list (.acl) files.

To use the AutoCorrect utility:

1. In Windows Explorer, locate your personal AutoCorrect list file.

This file is usually in the Windows 95 folder. The file name
includes your Windows user name followed by three zeroes and
   the .acl extension. For example:

      C:\Win95\Myname000.acl

      -or-

      C:\Windows\Myname000.acl

2. Copy the Aclfix.exe file to the folder that contains your personal
   .acl file.

3. On the Windows taskbar, click Start, click Run, and then type "command"
(without the quotation marks) in the Open box. Click OK to open a Command
    window.

4. Type the following command line:

      C:\<Windows Directory>\Aclfix <File name>.acl

where <Windows Directory> is the Windows 95 folder and
<File name> is the name of your personal AutoCorrect list file.

   For example, type:

      C:\Win95\Aclfix Myname000.acl

5. Type "exit" (without the quotation marks) to close the Command
   window and return to Windows.
