SUBJECT:	Mouse Troubleshooting Guide
 
TROUBLESHOOTING:
1.   Check the release date of WP.
2.   Check Software Change Notices
3.   Read the appropriate sections in the manual and workbook.
     Tip - The manuals are in the INFO DOOR, e.g., -MANUALS.
4.   Try Auto Select.
5.   Select the correct Mouse Type.
6.   Select the correct Port.  If the mouse is a serial mouse, try 
     selecting ports COM1 through COM4.
7.   Boot vanilla.
8.   Exit WP, come back in and try again.
9.   Have you loaded a MOUSE.COM file?  If so, is Mouse Driver 
     (MOUSE.COM) selected as the Mouse Type?  If you load MOUSE.COM or 
     MOUSE.SYS, try using a WP driver, if available.  Can you successfully 
     use a WordPerfect Mouse Driver?
10.  If you are loading MOUSE.COM in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file, try loading 
     MOUSE.SYS in the CONFIG.SYS file instead, and vice versa.
11.  Use startup options.
12.  Does the mouse work outside of WP?
13.  Can you duplicate the problem on your computer?

Note:  If you are having a problem in the International version of
the product, try duplicating the problem in the latest US version of 
the product.

2.	AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS or complete MSD report 
3.	Mouse driver date and version 
4.	Mouse model and manufacturer
