SUBJECT:	International Troubleshooting Guide

This memo should help with troubleshooting and writing STRs dealing with
the Language Modules for WordPerfect and for non-English versions of the
program.  However, when using a non-English version please refer to the
Troubleshooting guide for the specific feature being used.

TROUBLESHOOTING 
1.	Check the release date of WP. 
2.	Read the appropriate sections in the manual and workbook.
 	Tip - The manuals are in the INFO DOOR, e.g., -MANUALS. 
3.	Check SCNs, Folio and the STR database. 
4.	Exit WP, come back in and try again. 
5.	Run vanilla. 
6.      Check Location of Files in Setup, and make sure the directories are
        correct. 
7.	Try to duplicate the problem. 
8.	Check Text Screen Type and Graphics Screen Type in Setup.

REQUIRED INFORMATION FOR AN STR 
1.	Version and date of WP. 
2.      Version and date of Language Module, if applicable. 
3.	All hardware information. 
4.	Exact keystrokes to duplicate the problem. 
5.	List all troubleshooting steps taken. 
6.	All printer information- printer selection, and any soft fonts 
        they use. 
7.	Graphics card information- use WPINFO and what is selected for 
        Graphics Screen Type and Text Screen Type in Setup.

MATERIALS TO BE SENT IN WITH AN STR 

A file that duplicates the problem.
