Enhancement
The x-bar character () has been added to the Math/Scientific
character set.  You no longer need to use Equation or Overstrike
to display this character.


Concept
The x-bar is a math character which stands for "Mean" or
"Average".  It is an x with a bar over it.  It has been added to
character set 6, Math/Scientific characters.  The character
number [6,237] has been assigned to it.


How Do I Use It?
To display the x-bar character,

1    Choose WP Characters from the Font menu, or press WP
     Characters (Shift+F11 or Ctrl+W).

2    Type 6,237 in the Number box and press Enter.

The x-bar will appear on your screen.  On some monitors, it may
appear as a small box, but you will be able to see it in Print
Preview or in graphics or page mode.

To use Print Preview,

1    Choose Print/Fax from the File menu, or press Print
     (Shift+F7).

2    Choose Print Preview (7).

To switch to graphics or page mode,

1    Press Screen (Ctrl+F3), then choose Graphics (3) or Page
     (4).
