Using a Program Information File (.PIF), you can run WordPerfect
6.0 for DOS under Microsoft Windows. WordPerfect ships with a
.PIF file that lets you run WordPerfect 6.0 for DOS under Windows
3.0 or higher. The .PIF file contains information about
WordPerfect 6.0 for DOS such as memory requirements and display
usage.

if you installed WordPerfect to a different directory) in

A WordPerfect 6.0 for DOS icon should appear in the program group
you selected. You can now start WordPerfect by double-clicking
the WordPerfect 6.0 for DOS icon you just created. If you
receive an error message, you either typed the wrong directory in
step 6 or the .PIF file was not installed. Recheck the directory
where WP.EXE is located, or install WP.PIF.

IMPORTANT: You can edit the .PIF file in Windows with the .PIF
Editor if you want to change some of the settings. You should
make certain, however, that the Display Usage is set to Full
Screen. You may have trouble running WordPerfect 6.0 for DOS in
a window. We recommend running WordPerfect in a full screen.
