1. How to install this program?

Run Wp4ps10t.exe directly to install Web.Plugins for Photoshop 1.0
Trial Version. 


2. System requirements

.	Windows 95 or Windows NT 3.51 or higher
.	486-DX2/DX4 or Pentium-compatible systems
.	8MB RAM (16MB recommended)
.	4MB available hard drive space for program files
.	Windows-compatible pointing device
.	True Color or HiColor display adapter and monitor (recommended)
.	Adobe Photoshop 32-bit Effect/Acquire plug-in compatible image
        editor is required to run Web.Plugins for Photoshop plugin
        modules.

        Important Note: Two system libraries (MSVCRT20.DLL and
                        MSVCRT40.DLL) must be installed in your Windows
                        System folder to run Web.Plugins for Photoshop.
                        These files are routinely installed by products
                        from a variety of vendors and, for many users,
                        will already exist.

                        If you do not have these files, you may download
                        them from our web site at http://www.ulead.com.
                        If you experience problems running Web.Plugins
                        for Photoshop, please verify that these files
                        are located in the System folder under your
                        Windows directory.


3. What is Ulead Web.Plugins for Photoshop?

Powerful imaging software like Adobe Photoshop isn't specifically
designed for Web use. That's why you need Web.Plugins for Photoshop, to
add one-step seamless tileable backgrounds and drop shadows, 3D buttons
and text banners, frames and image map tags, with all the special
effects you'd expect from a pro. For the web master, this set of
plug-ins enhances Photoshop's strengths and, with all due respect,
complements its weaknesses.

Based on award-winning PhotoImpact WebExtensions web imaging technology,
Web.Plugins for Photoshop works with Adobe Photoshop 3.x/4.x, Jasc Paint
Shop Pro 4.1, Micrografx Picture Publisher 6.0, Corel Photo Paint 6.0
and other image editors compatible with 32-bit Photoshop Effect and
Acquire plug-in filters.

Web.Plugins includes the following plug-in components:

Effect plug-ins (displayed under Filter menu, Ulead Web.Plugins submenu)
	Buttonizer (Any Shape - Inner)
	Buttonizer (Any Shape - Outer)
	Buttonizer (Rectangle - Inner)
	Buttonizer (Rectangle - Outer)
	Drop Shadow
	Frame and Shadow
	Image Map Tag

Effect commands may be applied to RGB color and Grayscale selection
areas.

Acquire plug-in (displayed under File menu, Acquire submenu)
	Background Designer


4. Overview of using Web.Plugins for Photoshop

.	To create 3D buttons, text or graphical objects, first make a
        selection, then run the Buttonizer of your choice. Buttonizer
        options are available to customize the look of your button, text
        or graphic.
.	To use the Frame and Shadow plug-in, create a rectangular
        selection area, select the plug-in and choose the options you
        wish to apply.  Frames and Shadows may be applied together or
        separately. The Drop Shadow plug-in can be applied to any shape
        selection.
.	To use the Image Map Tag plug-in, create a selection, select the
        plug-in, choose the format you prefer and enter the target URL.
        Click the "To Clipboard" button to copy the tag to the Windows
        Clipboard. Then paste it into your HTML document according to
        your web authoring program's procedures. To create a background
        tile, choose the Background Designer plug-in and set the tile
        size, palette and schema.  Adjust fine level settings for hue
        and ring shift, frequency, density amplitude and lightness to
        tailor the feel of the tile.  Click OK to create the background
        as a new RGB document.

For more information about Web.Plugins for Photoshop and how to use it,
refer to the online help. The help can be viewed by clicking the help
button that appears in most of the program's dialog boxes or by clicking
its icon from Windows Explorer.


5. Trial period information

Web.Plugins for Photoshop Trial version is distributed free-of-charge to
all users. This software installs for FREE trial use for a period of 15
days from the date of installation.


6. Purchasing the retail version of Web.Plugins for Photoshop

You may purchase a retail Full version of Web.Plugins for Photoshop
which is very similar to (or better than) the Trial version.  The retail
version is not time restricted and will never expire. Details about
where and how to purchase this product can be found on the Ulead web
site Web Utility page (http://www.ulead.com/products/framens.htm).


7. Technical support

For Trial version users, if you have any questions, we encourage you to
read the Web.Plugins for Photoshop information on our web site. We offer
no technical support at this moment for the Trial version of Web.Plugins
for Photoshop.  If you discover a bug in the program, please kindly send
your report to webutility@ulead.com.tw. Necessary changes will be made
and the web page will be updated. We suggest you check our web site
often.

Technical support for the purchased retail Full version is available via
our web site (www.ulead.com), email (support@ulead.com or
support@ulead.com.tw), fax, or through our support centers around the
world.  Be sure to have your Web.Plugins for Photoshop Technical Support
ID (displayed in the plug-in module's About box) ready or include it in
your email or fax.
