                           1- Disclaimer

The WinAlert 1.0 product is based on DaVinci eMAIL's WinAlarm product
which ship's with the DaVinci eMAIL package by ON Technology. WinAlert was
designed to overcome some of the short comings of WinAlarm, of which I hope
it has succeeded. This product is FreeWare and is distributable to anybody
who has use of it so long as no money is charged for it's use and all files
including the README.TXT file are included along with it.

                           3- Installation

This product must be installed into your DaVinci eMAIL directory
to function properly. WinAlert 1.0 uses the DaVinci EMAILSYS.INI file to
find directory path's to your MHS, GMHS or Connect2 products.

To install this product, simply UNZIP the WINALERT.ZIP file into your
eMAIL directory. You should have the following files:

                WINALERT.EXE (WinAlert 1.0 Executable)
                WINALERT.HLP (WinAlert 1.0 On-Line Help)
                README.TXT (This File)
                SPIN.VBX (Visual Basic VBX)
                THREED.VBX (Visual Basic VBX)
                VBRUN300.DLL (Visual Basic Run-Time DLL)

You can place this program on your local hard drive, but you must
also copy your EMAILSYS.INI file to the same directory. Make sure that the
icon in Program Manager has a correct and valid Working Directory. If the
Working Directory is not correct or one of the .VBX files are missing, then
the program may give you errors. You can also place the .VBX files in the
WINDOWS/SYSTEM Directory.

If you have any problems with the product or simply some suggestions
for enhancements, please send an E-Mail message to Kharkdan Software.
