Check Disk Scanner for Windows, Version 1.1
Copyright (c) 1993-1994, Marvin E. Wilborne III

This program is useful when placed in the
Startup Group of Windows for scanning the
output of a CHKDSK command that is executed
BEFORE Windows starts up.

The program scans the output of CHKDSK for
errors and if they are found, launches
NOTEPAD with the output file so that you can
see the errors.

If no errors are found, the program automatically
exits if is run minimized otherwise it waits
for the user to exit the program.

If you do not run the program minimized, you
are given information about the size of the
output file and how far along the program has
gotten in scanning using a "temperature" type
gauge.

The default file name that is scanned is C:\CHKDSK.LIS.
You can enter any file name you like as parameter 1
to the executable (this can be set with the file properties
menu selection while the Icon is selected).

To create the output file that is necessary for this
program, enter the following line in your AUTOEXEC.BAT
file BEFORE any network startup procedures and BEFORE
the line that starts Windows:

	CHKDSK >C:\CHKDSK.LIS

Then add the WCHKDSK program to the Startup Group
minimized or normal and that is it! Make sure you
specify the file to scan in the file properties if
you don't use the default file C:\CHKDSK.LIS!

If the file that is being searched doesn't exist, then
the program will pop up it's main window with an error
message regardless of being run minimized or normal.
