  General info
================

	I am not going to describe all the VPE features here. You can see most
of them in demo zones. To load a zone type it's name (with extension) as a
parameter on the command-line. In a zone with blinking wall you have to shoot
at it to activate a nice effect. Map-subdivision is disabled in this demo
because zone sizes vary widely. Usually I use pictures from Doom for objects.
For the demo I had to get something different as it seems to be illegal to
use their pictures. So no nice explosions and monsters. Sorry. I am not an
artist. Another thing... there is a full set of utils available for VPE
including zone editor, texture editor, palette tool. I am not including them
with the demo. The speed of the engine is set to 12 fps. It's what I get
most of the time on my machine. It means that on the faster machines everything
will move faster. I might add speed adjustments later. Anywayz it's just a
demo and not the complete product :)
	If you see some bugs/crashes/problems, please, send me a message.

==================

	I do NOT plan to release the source into public domain :(
If you are working on some project and are in need of a graphics engine,
feel free to contact me and we'll discuss the terms. If you have some
questions just send an e-mail.

  Greetings
=============

	I would like to thank all the people who helped me with testing,
particularly guys from Crystalline Software.
	Special thanks to John Swartz for sending Watcom compiler,
Deric Ruhl for providing some cool pictures, Torquil Gault for creating
sample zones.

  Coming up next
==================

	* Well, there might be some additions for VPE.
	  Or there might be nothing for a while :)
