                       STRATIGIC HINTS TO SURVIVE

PROTECTING YOUR BASE:
The key to staying alive in a Survival world, is protecting your
base or bases. A base is captured when an enemy tank occupies that
square. Capturing a base increases the capacities of your tanks. If
your last base is captured, you are dead.
To protect your base, surround it with a minefield, leaving at
least one open path back into your base, since you will need to return
there to replenish the supplies in your tanks. As you lay mines and move
to the next position on the map, you will notice that your mines are
clearly visible. Your mines are only visible to you, the enemy will see
nothing when approaching your base.

BOOBYTRAPS:
Mines may also be used as boobytraps. By randomly laying mines as
you travel in the Survival world, you can potentially damage an enemy
tank, and may even confuse an enemy into searching futilely for your
base in the vicinity of the mine explosion.

WARP TO SAVE TIME:
When one of your tanks is low on fuel, or weapons you must travel
to one of your bases to re-supply. If you have traveled some distance,
this can be quite a journey. You can use the fickle Warp command to
immediately transport back to your base.

COMMAND CENTRAL:
Each commander may have a total of ten bases. Each base is capable
re-supplying a tank with missles and mines, but only Command Central
will re-generate a new tank each time one is destroyed. Try to use a
base that is close to the action as your Command Central, that way if
one of your tanks is destroyed, the replacement tank won't have as far
to travel to join battle.
