Stepping Stone Version 2.00 General Informaton

  Stepping Stone is a program to allow users of Microsoft Internet Explorer to browse a set of URL sites in some sequential order without fussing with their bookmark file.  Users can browse their favorite sites effortlessly on some periodic basis.  

  To install Stepping Stone, simply unzip the general archive file (STEPP20.ZIP) into a directory you can delete later.  Once unzipped using your favorite PKUNZIP utility, execute SETUP.EXE.  The setup routine will prompt you for an installation directory which MUST be C:\Stepping2 - although it may appear to give you some kind of option.  C:\Stepping2 is the default.  Once the setup routine is completed, you may delete or store the archive files.  You execute Stepping Stone by clicking on STEP2.EXE, or the icon which looks like a two-way highway.  Stepping Stone will create and work with its own occurrence of Microsoft Internet Explorer (Win95), which is required for the program to work.

  To make most effective use of Stepping Stone, it is suggested that you create a shortcut of the main exectionable for your desktop by opening your Stepping2 directory using Explorer, and right-clicking over the highlighted Stepping Stone icon.  Opt to create a shortcut, and then drag the resulting shortcut icon to your desktop or other utility folder.

  Stepping Stone is FREEWARE.  There is no cost to use it.  You are encouraged to use the program as often as you wish.  Please share the program with others if it suits your needs.  There are no restrictions on the distribution of Stepping Stone.
