HOW TO START THE SCREENSAVER:
Your screen saver program has been copied into the
Windows(tm) Desktop of the Control Panel. However, it has
not been activated. Activating your screen saver is easy,
and requires three steps as follows:

  I. Load the Control Panel
  II. Run the Desktop option
  III. Select the screen saver

(If you are installing to Windows 95, read this entire document)
=========================================================
I. Load the Control Panel

The Control Panel is generally found in the MAIN group of
your Program Manager. Execute the Control Panel by double
clicking the Control Panel icon.

If you cannot find the MAIN group or the Control Panel
icon, you can run the control panel from the File Manager
by double clicking CONTROL.EXE in your main Windows
directory (usually called WINDOWS). You can also run the
control panel by pulling down the "File" menu item in the
Program Manager and selecting the "Run" command. Enter
CONTROL.EXE in the run dialog box.

=========================================================
II. Run the Desktop option

After you have started the control panel, you will see a
series of icons. One of these icons will be labeled
"Desktop". To run the Desktop option of the control panel,
double click the Desktop icon in the Control Panel.

=========================================================
III. Select the screen saver

When you start the Desktop option of the control panel, a
dialog box will appear. Look in the middle of the dialog
box for the 'Screen Saver' options. Next to the "Name:"
option, you will see a down arrow. Click on this arrow
with your mouse to see the list of screen savers on your
computer. Select the screen saver name from the list. You
can also select from the list by using the down arrow key.
If you want to see the PictureBox screen saver
right away, you can press the "Test" button. Select the
OK button to close the dialog box and your screen saver is
now activated.

INSTALLING TO WINDOWS 95:
Under the Start menu, select "Settings" and then select
"control panel". Click on the "display" icon. On the
display dialog box, select the "screen saver" tab. Select
the desired screen saver. Make sure that in the
"settings" tab, that a 256 color mode has been selected. If
the screen saver does not start, delete the screen saver and
re-install the program. Exit and then restart Windows.
The first picture may not display properly.

SETTING YOUR PASSWORD AND SCREEN SAVER DELAY

You can set the number of minutes before the screen saver
activates by entering a number into the "Delay" option of
the desktop dialog box. If you select the "Setup"
button, you can select a password that must be used before
the screen saver will stop and pass control back to your
windows programs. This security feature will prevent
other people from using your computer while your screen
saver is activated. You can also set if the screen saver
can be deactivated by moving the mouse.

REMOVING THE PASSWORD SECURITY DIALOG BOX

If you are using the password feature, a dialog box will
appear if you press a key or move the mouse. The buttons
will appear in different colors depending on the colors
used in the pictures being displayed. If someone tries to
use your computer while you are away, the dialog box will
remain on the screen to inform you that someone has tried
to use your computer. To remove the password screen, you
need to press the key combination of ESCAPE TAB TAB SPACE.

SETTING THE VIDEO MODE

It is recommended that Windows be running in a 640 x 480
in 256 color mode. If the screen saver does not display
the pictures in the proper colors, you will need to
change the video mode by running the Windows setup
program. You can do this in DOS by switching to your
Windows directory and entering the command "SETUP" or you
can click on the SETUP icon in the MAIN program group in
Windows. In order to view the pictures as full screen,
the video mode needs to be set to 640 x 480 in 256 color
mode. If you do not see such a video mode listed, you
will not be able to view the pictures properly. You can
also use a higher resolution video mode, but your
pictures will not fill the screen. Check with the
manufacturer of your video card.

If you would like to get other pictures, or would like create a
custom screen saver for a business, school group, or even a wedding
album, please contact Intellect Systems.

If you would like to change the sequence of the pictures or
the transition effects, please contact us about our personal

package with other popular screen savers like Microsoft
Scenes and Second Nature screen saver products. Install the
screen saver normally, then you can use the image files that
end with a .JPG extension in the installation directory.
Follow the directions that come with the other screen saver
programs to add the .JPG images.

You can use shareware programs such as Paint Shop Pro to
convert the JPEG image files to a picture format that is
compatible with your other applications. The .BMP format is
common for Windows applications. Once you have created a
.BMP file, you can edit it with Paintbrush and use the image
as a wallpaper. You may use the images in this package for
your own personal use. You may not distribute or use the
images for any commercial (for sale) purpose.

If you wish to remove the screen saver from your hard disk, you
will need to delete the contents of the screen saver directory
