ARCIT11.ZIP (freq ARCIT) - NEW FREEWARE for '96! [78 kb]
Arc-It v1.1 for DOS and OS/2. Arc-It is a simple utility that will
allow you to manipulate any archive type with this one program. Arc-It
will determine the archive type of the target file and run the
appropriate archiver for adding, extracting and viewing. Useful if you
can never remember which parameters to use for each archiver, or if you
need to uncompress an unknown archive type in a batch file. Uses a
configurable (Maximus-BBS style) text file for archiver definitions so
that new ones may be added at will. Contains a feature to extract files
to a specified directory (a feature every archiver should have built-in).

SCID111.ZIP (freq SENTRY) - NEW SHAREWARE for '96! [100 kb]
Sentry-CID v1.11 for DOS and OS/2. Sentry (or SCID) reads your mailer's
logfile (both U.S. and Canadian formats), verifies the Caller-ID data to
the best of its abilites and logs on or barricades users. Users can also
be verified on-line eliminating the need for kludgy call-back verifiers.
Among it's powerful features is even an option to update your system
clock! Sentry-CID is similar to the popular "MAXCID03" program, but
with a variety of bug fixes and enhancements. (Auto-Login currently only
available for the Maximus BBS system).

ALFIE01.ZIP (freq ALFIE) - NEW SHAREWARE for '96!
Alfie, similar to Archie on the internet, is a module which will
simplify bbs file-searching in your area. Alfie maintains a searchable
database of bbs filelists which can be accessed locally (from the bbs by
its users) or remotely via SQUISH, JAM and *.MSG message echos/netmail.

** Alfie has not yet been publicly released, but should be available
      by mid-summer 1996

ALF_FC01.ZIP (freq ALFIEFC) - NEW FREEWARE for '96!
AlfieFC's main function is to generate compiled file-requestable
filelists for the Alfie server, but can also be used as a stand-alone
text ALLFILES list creator. Supports all FILES.BBS systems, with
special support for Maximus and Remote Access filebases. Features
include re-sorting of FILES.BBS, ANSI and ASCII file generation.

** AlfieFC has not yet been publicly released, but should be available
      by mid-summer 1996
