What is RunTrak?
------------------------------------------
RunTrak is an intuitive, powerful, and attractive running logbook
program written for the Microsoft Windows operating environment
for PC's and compatables.

What can RunTrak do for me?
------------------------------------------
RunTrak provides all of the basic elements of a good running log:
- Tabulated entries with date, distance and elapsed time of run, calculated
pace, weekly mileages, and remarks sections.
- Intuitive, easy-to-use interface based on a calendar motif. Browse through
a month's worth of runs by pointing and clicking with a mouse. Edit old
runs and add new runs from the calendar.

In addition, RunTrak provides additional helpful features:
- Attractive and informative graphing functions include plotting distance
and pace of runs over time.
- Calculate the effects of rest days.
- View statistics of your entire logbook, or any portion you desire to analyze.
- Full printing capabilities. Supports all printers supported under Windows.

Why RunTrak?
-------------------------------------------
All logbooks I have seen are MS-DOS based. Most I have experienced tend to
have poor interfaces, have poor graphical and printer support, and are, in
general, unpleasant. RunTrak is (I believe) the first Windows-based
shareware running program. It is intuitive and pleasant to use. It takes
full advantage of the Windows 3.1 environment and it will run on ANY hardware
that Windows 3.1 supports. It has been tested to support and take advantage
of everything from 2 color EGA video all the way to 256-color SuperVGA (BTW,
the latter is really pretty -- even ordinary 16 color VGA is pretty nice).
RunTrak supports all printers that Windows supports! You can even use Windows
'Drag and Drop' to launch your own logbook/database files with one smooth motion
of the mouse.

What do I need to run RunTrak?
-------------------------------------------
You need:
- A 386, 486, or Pentium-based PC running Windows 3.1, win95 or winNT. About 200 KB
  of free disk space.
