The RunIn macro package for Word for Windows 6.0 automates
the steps needed to apply a character style to selected text
at the beginning of a Normal-style paragraph, which lets you
fake a run-in heading. It also helps you to number your run-
in headings and put them into a table of contents.

To install the RunIn macros, open the file RUNIN.DOC in Word
for Windows and double-click the box at the top of the first
page. You can choose to install the macros in any template,
although I suggest installing them in NORMAL.DOT so that
they will be available in all documents.

The RunIn package creates toolbar buttons for configuring
and applying the run-in heading styles. The text in
RUNIN.DOC explains how to use them.
