What's this all about?
----------------------

Memo v1.0 is some kind of memo pad for Windows95, where you can stick unlimited numbers of
memo's (small windows with customizeable text) on your screen.
It's easy accessed via the tray-icon.

Well, but how do I install it?
------------------------------

  1. If you didn't do this already, simply unzip this archive into a temporary directory.
  2. Run 'SETUP.EXE' with the Explorer or with the 'START/RUN'-Command.
  3. The Setup-Program will copy the necessary files into your windows-directory and
configures the registry for the first run.
  4. After this you can delete the files which you have unzipped before.
NOTE: The help-file 'Memo.hlp' (and 'Memo.cnt') will NOT be copied, so if you
like to read it or have any troubles with Memo, please keep them a few
           minutes longer!
  5. At this point, you'll notice nothing from Memo, because it will be automatically
loaded at every Windows-Start (so you would have to restart).
But you can manually start 'Memo.exe' for the first time, now located in your default
     windows-directory (e.g. 'C:\Windows').

If you are upgrading from a further version, just run SETUP.EXE and it will take care
of your old preferences and saved memos.

Okay, got it...what if I don't like Memo any more?
--------------------------------------------------

  1. Run the 'SOFTWARE'-Program from 'START/SETTINGS/CONTROL PANEL' and you'll see
     a list of installed software.
  2. Double click on the entry 'Memo 1.0 (remove only)' and Memo will uninstall itself.
