Hello all.. I was listening to a (sorry) Dead tape the other day when my
roommate, a pretty good guy except for his musical misconceptions, came
in and said, "What is this crap? Not more of that Neo-Nazi F*%king Phish
Rock!" Oh well, some people are lost in the world...

Hello everyone on the net-

I just wanted to write and say Happy Valentine's Day....

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately about life, friends....you know
constanly trying to answer the question- why?

Anyway, i came up with the idea that we should all be happy today. I was
talking to my roommate about Valentines Day and we both agreed that it should
be a national holiday. Today is a day to express your appreciation for your
family, friends, loved ones etc....What's really weird about the whole thing is
that instead of having Valentines day a national holiday where we can celebrate
meaningful relationships, we have national holidays to remember wars, labor,
dead presidents etc.....

I don't think that those holidays aren't justified, but if we celebrate that
kind of negativity, I think that we should also celebrate positivity and love.

So anyway, I'm making the request that we all take time to reflect today on the
people that we know and love and let them know that we appreciate them.

*cheese mode off*

I'm really pissed because I wrote a message to the net yesterday about some
thoughts that I had about the DLCD and its not there!!! If anyone got that
message (it was the one with Live Sh*t, Binge and Purge) please let me know,
because my newsreader does not show it.

Thank you all for allowing me to waste bandwith (no flames please). And have a
happy valentines day.

PHIL

Am I the only one who thinks this is somewhat unsavory? I mean, these posters
were given out for free, and at the time it was difficult to get one, since so
many people were mobbing the BGP guys, and here you have a bunch and you're
*selling* them? I mean, I support capitalism as much as the next guy, but
$25 each?

i admit i may have gotten a little excited with all this talk about
people wanting tour dates and stuff. but, i really didn't mean to
write "spring" i realized it after i mailed it. so here is the
correction : my call for the 1995 tour opener: the WeDgE (it would
still be a great opener whether it was spring, summer, fall or the
NYE run)

sorry, i will try to be more careful next time.

First, to all Phishies, I know this is a Phish newsgroup but I am just
trying to help out my sister. My sister is an avid follower of the
Samples, but can't seem to get her hands on any live shows. She has been
to about 13 live shows, including Irving Plaza, NY. If anyone has any
copies of a show, even one, E-mail me ASAP. She is willing to send blanks
and postage very quickly. Thanks in advance-----Tim

Shaggy,

|I heard (RUMOR) that Phish is playing small venues under the name
|Acoustic Hookah.

This is false. Akoostik Hookah is a great band from Columbus Ohio. They are
on tour right now...you should check them out. I know this is a fact because
1) I am from Columbus, and 2) The bassist went to my high school.

I am not giving a biased opinion, they really area great. If you need any
further info, email me Greta@eworld.com.

Thanks,

Maybe Dave had heard Chalkdust on the radio, but the week before when he said
Phish would be on next week, he said something to the effect of "Phish, who the
hell is that?" I doubt he knew the music.

hello.

sorry to beat the horses brains out after it died of dehydration, but th-
is one is particularly close to my clogged heart. after the 3rd nite of
the warfield run, i managed to get my taping gear down in time to enjoy
a few minutes of hangout time on market street. as i walked out, i saw th-
at there were alot of these really cool posters people were showing their
friends, etc. well, this was my birthday show, and since the dates were on
the posters, i _just had to have one_(ever heard that one before?). they
are also very professionallly done, so i asked who was selling these bea-
uts. "they're free, man!" "oh great, who's got 'em?" "i don't know...some
dude over by the door." "thanks...man." so, anyway, the posters were all
gone of course. i told this guy my story about it being my birthday, and
how much i'd like to have one of those posters, all the while eyeing that
poster sticking out of his backpack(hey...judge not..). so he gives me the
poster on the condition that i make him the tapes. well, i lost his address
en route home, so if anyone out there knows a guy from ?capistrano(SIC?),
ca who gave some taper a poster and never got his tapes, let me or him
know, and i'll finish up the deal.

but, like reis said, these posters were free outside of the show, and just
because they are now considered "collector's items," that is no reason at
all to charge money for them...especially $25.00.

keep it simple,
Sir Chan destroy

ps-remember, there are only a precious few months 'til the rupture...please
get with 'bob'....and get some SLACK!!

this feels like fate. I am going to Eugene, OR to visit my older brother-

On the DLCD, will the band denote which shows they took the songs from

i.e. Antelope (11-13-94) - hint, hint :)

Somebody help me out here.
All info is appreciated.
