SYMPTOM:

1. When attaching and logging into a NetWare 3.11 server using
an NDIS LAN
driver, any attempts to access the directory structure on that
3.11 server
from File Manager generates the error messages "Invalid handle"
or
"Error reading files." This can also happen using an ODI
driver,
but it is much less likely.

 2. The Novell Redirector fails to start after reboot. The
follow error message
was logged in the Even Viewer: "Cannot bind to MLID with
specified
 parameters. Using default parameters."

SOLUTION:

Apply IPXSPX.SYS, 56864 bytes, 7-13-95.
 Apply NWFS.SYS, 165632 bytes, 7-12-95.
 Apply VMLID.SYS, 19200 bytes, 7-12-95.
