Well here it is...

12 All-Time Great Teams

Just put all the 12halfam.* files into your Pro95 directory and
have fun!

I put alot of time into getting these teams and players just right.
Alot of hours looking through books and scanning microfilm at my
college library (like an electrical engineering major has nothing
better to do!!). I was on a real quest to find the greats from
as far back as the 50's. There are very few "old time" or "non-
modern day" players, but how could I neglect Bronko Nagurski, Don
Hudson, and Sid Luckman? I was also on a quest for completely
accurate jersey numbers. The old guys never had numbers listed in the
papers, but some old videos and pictures gave me some (Luckman's 42).

Of course you will notice some players have to have different numbers,
in order that their predecessors could have them. Dallas has some
noticible ones. Should 22 go to Emmitt or Bullet Bob Hayes? 88 to
Pearson or Irvin? I chose the older players, unless the new guy was
ALOT better. If you see a wrong number, and do not see it on another
player on the same team, change it and PLEASE let me know!! I want
them to be right.

Some helpful books for this type of thing are:

Complete Encyclopedia of Pro Football (of course)
Sunday Mayhem (a Celebration of Football in America); put out around '86
The Truly Great: the 200 Best Pro Football Players of All Time
Old newspapers

PLEASE let me know how you like the league, and what improvements you
would make.
