          ARTISOFT EXTENDS TOP RANKING IN PEER-TO-PEER NETWORKING
     
          Maker of LANtastic(R) System Claims 39.4% of 1994 Worldwide 
          Market Share
     
          (TUCSON, AZ -- April 26, 1995) -- Artisoft, Inc. announced 
          today that it has extended its worldwide leadership position 
          in peer-to-peer network operating systems, outpacing 
          Microsoft Corporation and Novell, Inc. for calendar year 
          1994.  Based on an analysis by International Data 
          Corporation (IDC), Artisoft had 39.4% of the peer-to-peer 
          market share.  There were more than 1.7 million peer-to-peer 
          nodes shipped worldwide in 1994, according to IDC.

          reflects the worldwide acceptance of the LANtastic network 
          operating system as a powerful yet easy to use and

          In calendar year 1994, Artisoft's target market of small and
