ARTISOFT NOW SHIPPING LANTASTIC(R) DEDICATED SERVER v1.1

Revised Version Offers Improved Ease of Use, Performance and
          Productivity for Growing Small Businesses

(TUCSON, AZ -- April 5, 1995) -- Artisoft, Inc. announced
today that it has begun shipping version 1.1 of its
award-winning LANtastic Dedicated Server software (formerly
called CorStream(TM)). The LANtastic Dedicated Server is
high-performance server software for Artisoft's LANtastic
networks v5.0 and above as well as the recently announced
LANtastic Power Suite. It combines the LANtastic system's
hallmark ease of use with the 32-bit engine of Novell's
NetWare(R) 4 technology. This server software is targeted
to growing small businesses that need the performance and
expandability of a larger, more sophisticated network along
with the affordability and ease of the LANtastic network.
Pricing starts at $749 (MSRP) for a five-user version.

"We believe that Artisoft's new LANtastic Dedicated Server
is now bringing powerful client-server technology to the
small business customer in an easy-to-use format," said
Sunil Padiyar, Artisoft Vice President of Software Products.
"It complements our family of scalable networking solutions
and provides a clear growth path for LANtastic network
          customers," he added.

The LANtastic Dedicated Server provides a migration path for
existing LANtastic users with growing needs. The new server
will provide improved network response, enhanced network
printer performance, increased data safety, network growth
capability, and an affordable network solution.

          FEATURES

The LANtastic Dedicated Server includes several new features
that offer increased ease of use, performance and
          productivity.

Installation has been simplified with only six disks or one
CD-ROM required and more extensive documentation. The server
software can be installed in as little as 30 minutes for
those using the CD-ROM. Once the software is installed, all
configuration and maintenance can be done from any computer
          on the network.

The installation has been further streamlined with automatic
printer setup, eliminating the need to configure printers
with commands from a separate PC on the network. Another
enhancement in the installation restores archived control
directories which makes it even easier to add the server to
an existing LANtastic network. With this feature,
previously set user account information is maintained and
then easily restored during the installation to the new
          dedicated server.

"The installation is more refined and simpler now," said Tom
Smith, Artisoft reseller and Vice President of JES, Inc. in
San Antonio, Texas. "As a beta test site, I've been using
the LANtastic Dedicated Server since November and it hasn't
hiccupped once. It's very reliable and easy to use. I'm
very comfortable in saying this is the server environment
you want to be using if you're a small business," he added.

Also new to the dedicated server software is Ethernet II and
IPX packet routing. This feature facilitates data and file
transfers in mixed LANtastic and NetWare networks. It
allows NetWare servers to share information with the new
LANtastic Dedicated Server, particularly between branch or
          remote offices and main offices.

Users of the LANtastic Dedicated Server can better utilize
network resources through the new ADSFILE utility. This
network management utility gives users access to many
features, including space restrictions on directories,
attribute controls and recovery of deleted files.

The improved version of the server also supports Artisoft's
Central Station(TM) II connectivity processor, allowing
users to make better use of existing network resources.
The Central Station II platform can be used as a print
server, connecting up to five printers to the network. This
enables users to position their PCs in safe or convenient
locations and eliminates the need to dedicate a PC as a
          print server.

The new server software builds upon key features found in
the earlier version, including 32-bit architecture, disk
mirroring and disk duplexing for fault tolerance, data
compression/decompression and data migration. Users can
access the new "drop-in" server through the same easy-to-use
graphical user interface they are accustomed to in the
LANtastic network. This means no learning curve for current
LANtastic network users and a simple interface for new
          users.

          PRICING AND AVAILABILITY

The LANtastic Dedicated Server is sold as "drop-in" server
software for use within existing LANtastic networks, or as a
network solution package including the server and the
LANtastic v6.0 client software. Both offerings come in
          packages for 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 users. Pricing starts at
          $749 (MSRP) for a five-user "drop-in" version, and $899
(MSRP) for a five-user network bundle.

Also available are license-independent upgrade packages,
which will add all the new features of the LANtastic
Dedicated Server to existing CorStream servers v1.0. Upgrade
packages are being sold for a limited time at $299 (MSRP).
After June 15, 1995, the price will be $499 (MSRP).

The LANtastic Dedicated Server network can be easily
          expanded with add-on licenses for 5, 10, 25 or 50 users.
The add-on package consists of a diskette with the
applicable number of licenses and installation
documentation. Pricing starts at $699 (MSRP) for a
          five-user license.

The LANtastic Dedicated Server software complements
