          ARTISOFT ANNOUNCES LANTASTIC(R) 32-BIT CLIENT FOR WINDOWS(R) 95

          TUCSON, AZ -- September 11, 1995) -- Artisoft, Inc.
today announced the new LANtastic 32-bit Client that will
enable Artisoft customers to add Windows 95 PCs as full
clients to existing LANtastic networks. The client software
will be available via the company's BBS, FTP server and World
Wide Web home page in mid-October, 1995. The software will be
provided free of charge to all current users of LANtastic,
LANtastic Power Suite and Simply LANtastic(TM) networks.

"Our small and medium business customers tell us they will
generally not move rapidly to Windows 95, and will instead
gradually add Windows 95 machines to their current
environments," said Bill Peterson, Vice President of
Worldwide Marketing. "Our new LANtastic 32-bit Client
allows them to integrate Windows 95 machines to their
LANtastic networks at their own pace, while protecting their
existing investment in DOS, Windows and OS/2(R) platforms,"
          he said.

"Artisoft is on the right track for taking the next step in
the Windows operating system evolution," said David
Goudreau, Vice President of MIS/Operations for Financial
Institutions Marketing Company, Inc. in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin. "For businesses like mine running both DOS and
Windows applications, the LANtastic 32-bit Client is a smart
way to incorporate Windows 95 machines into our system. It
appears that Artisoft has once again provided a product that
has both ease of use and powerful connectivity," he added.

The LANtastic 32-bit Client for Windows 95 is designed for
users who are adding Windows 95 PCs to their LANtastic
network or who are migrating existing DOS- and Windows-based
LANtastic workstations to Windows 95. It will provide
LANtastic network users with fully functional client access
to their network resources. In addition, users can gain
          multiplatform connectivity to Novell(R) NetWare(R),
Microsoft NT(TM), IBM(R) LAN Server, Microsoft Windows for
Workgroups and LANtastic networks and resources.

The client software will be available free of charge as a
downloadable file on Artisoft's BBS (520/884-8648), FTP
server (FTP.artisoft.com), and World Wide Web home page
          (http://www.artisoft.com). The complete setup documentation
for the software is included in a readme file. The software
will also include on-line, context-sensitive help.
