                               NEWDATE.TXT

NewDate is a Windows 3.1+ File Manager extension which will enable you to 
modify the TimeStamps of selected files.  While intended to be a programers 
utility, it likely has other uses.

You add NewDate to the File Manager by coping NewDate.DLL into a subdirectory, 
and then adding a line to the [AddOns] section of Winfile.ini as shown below.
WinFile.ini is in the Windows Subdirectory and must be created if it does not 
exist. 

Assume you copy NewDate.Dll to the Windows System Directory (the most common 
location for Dynamic Link Library files).  Simply add the following line to 
WinFile.ini

         [AddOns]
     --> NewDate Extension=C:\Windows\System\NewDate.DLL

The next time you use File Manager you will see "ChangeDate" added to the 
main menu.  Select the files you want to modify the dates of and use this 
menu command to do the work.
